This will be the 3rd official meetup for the Carmod.net Car Group. The event is 100% FREE to attend!

Click Here to Register on the Forum in order to post and reserve your spot below...

Here's the event details:

When?
November 8, 2014
Noon - 6pm

Where?
PRT Performance
PRT Performance Facebook
Address:
1421 N Cowan Ave
Lewisville, TX 75057
Google Maps:
https://www.google.c...53a03ce2985236f

Where do I park? (There is no parking fee)
Parking capacity is limited to 65-75 cars (this is a guesstimate) so you'll want to get to the event early to make sure you can find a good spot to park. All parking will be on a First-Come-First-Serve basis. Below is an overhead shot of PRT and available parking.

Key (Green = Event Parking, Purple = Overflow Parking, it is safe to park here, just be careful driving onto the grass.)

Description:
PRT has a Mustang Dyno on site and has agreed to make this a Dyno Day provided at least 10 cars dyno. The rates are $45 for 3 pulls.

Rules:
NO crazyness like being obnoxious or stupid.
NO racing one another or anything resembling this anywhere near PRT!!!
NO drinking will be permitted if you're driving.

Dyno Day List (Confirmed, "Reserved" cars):

FWD Group:
David - 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5T

RWD Group:
Andy - 1999 Pontiac Trans Am LS1

AWD Group:
...

How do I reserve my spot on the Dyno?

  • First, you'll need to pay the RSVP fee of $11.54 which can be done via EventBrite here:https://www.eventbri...ets-13441302297 This reserves your spot on the Dyno and you'll pay the other $35 on the Dyno Day when you arrive. We do this to make sure each person is serious about Dynoing.
  • Simply state your name, car model, make and type in this forum thread.

Important Dyno Reserve/FCFS Rules:
Your Dyno spot will be put on the "reserved" list by paying the reserve fee (mentioned above) and also by posting here however you must check-in to the event by no later than 3pm in order to remain on the "reserved" list. If a reserved car shows up past the cut off time, you will still be able to Dyno your car, you'll simply be put in the "First-Come-First-Serve" line. Any reservee that comes prior to the cut off time will be able to jump ahead of any FCFS car that is in line unless they are already on the Dyno.

Capacity for the event will be around 65-75 cars! So unless you have reserved your spot by posting within this forum thread then the policy will be that Only modified cars will be able to have a spot on the Dyno and a reserved parking spot for the event. If you have a friend/relative coming along in another car then they will have to find somewhere down the street to park in the case we max out the parking capacity. If we're under capacity, parking and the dyno for non-reserved cars will be on a First-Come-First-Serve basis.

Can't wait to see what my brother's Trans Am puts down now. Last time it was around 297whp mostly bone stock. This time with headers and a dumped exhaust with no tune, we're expecting some loss on the low end and better power up high. This will make for a good baseline to compare how a tune will help (when he gets that done), and what an untuned 'bolt on' setup can do going up from a stock setup.

Oh and be sure to have some ear protection -- that car gets pretty loud!

P.s. time to update your signature/car specs. ;)
